I’ve known about the concept of vision boards for a while now, but until now, didn’t attempt to make one myself due to my lacking craft skills.
I’m going to show you how I made my DIY Vision Board, and how you can make your own as well!
What is a Vision Board?
A vision board is a symbol of what your goals represent and why you want to achieve them. Having a daily reminder of what grounds you and what you want to pursue effectively boosts motivations, making vision boards popular.

Brainstorm
It’s important that what goes on your vision board is entirely designed for and by YOU! Take some quiet time to reflect on what you want to see in your life for the upcoming year: what words you want to manifest, goals you want to chase, and milestones you want to hit.
I always love to conduct goal setting my dividing my goals into three categories: spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical.

These three aspects of health, in my opinion, are what I want to spend my life bettering.. so dividing my goals into these categories is super effective.
You’re going to want to pick out some words/ images/ visuals that align with the goals that you brainstorm.
These words and images will be used on your vision board to represent things you wish to manifest in the upcoming year.
Set Up Your Workplace
You want this experience to be relaxing and centering! Give yourself a quiet space to work. I put on some music, sipped some tea, and went to work!
Cut Out Your Items
You’re going to want to print out or cut out some images that represent what you want to manifest for the year.
By simply flipping through a magazine, you will likely find at least a word that resonates with one of your goals, if not an image.
Pinterest is a great resource to find inspiring words and images. Check out my pinterest feed here! Let’s be pinning friends 🙂
