Ethical Underwear?!

I often get asked about my recommendations for ethical and sustainable undergarments (that lasts and that won’t break the bank). My usual go – to recommendation for ethical and sustainable clothing on a budget is, as you know, THRIFTING. But for obvious reasons, thrifting isn’t the greatest for undies.

On the hunt for a quality brand that sells ethically made garments, I stumbled across Organic Basics. The brand has super high standards for how their products are made and by whom. They use GOTS certified organic cotton, GRS certified recycled nylon, and TENCEL fabric (wood pulp that uses 80% less water than cotton!), among other fabric alternatives. And they don’t stop at women’s undergarments… they also have men’s undergarments (boxers and briefs), workout clothes, and staple wardrobe pieces- like the TENCEL Maxi Dress that is now a staple layering piece in my wardrobe.
