Going to Nashville? A Nashville Native? Either way, I wanted to share reviews of some vegan restaurants in Nashville! Check out this guide to decide what vegan restaurants Nashville has to offer and which ones you should check out!
Located on City Blvd, perfectly situated in a quaint area of the bustling city, Avo is a popular spot for Nashville foodies- vegan and non vegan alike.
Avo has a seasonal menu, but they do have some staples that tend to stay year round (kimchi spring rolls, thats you!).
They are super well known for the Avo avocado mural- come on, a mural with avocados? What could be more ideal for a millenial lol.
In the times I have been, I was not impressed by any of the entrees I have gotten. I will say, though, that the housemade kombucha and kimchi spring rolls make this a place worth visiting- at least for the appetizers and the cute mural!
What to Try
Their housemade kombucha was heavenly! I loved the blueberry flavor.
The kimchi spring rolls are a house fave and SO yummy!
The Wild Cow is an eatery situated on Eastland Ave, right by a bunch of other great vegan Nashville places (like Five Daughters Bakery and Graze).
Many of the dishes seemed to be a part of an American/Mexican cuisine- and the servings were nice and big. I loved everything I tried! The place is bustling and the servers are always so nice. Def a must try!
Also they have a nice assortment of desserts that are all vegan and mostly gluten free too!
What to Try
The vegan nachos are a huge hit!
I also definitely recommend getting the MASSIVE Chipotle and Black Bean Burrito. It comes with chorizo and vegan cheese and is so so so yummy! Also it is literally a colossal size so hit this up if you are extra hungry… our waitress was impressed that I finished it *hairflip *yeah, it’s nbd.
Graze is in the same complex as The Wild Cow. It is a bit of a fancier place than Wild Cow, but nothing too crazy.
The food is delicious and a great date spot.
I love love LOVE the ambience of Graze! It’s a nice and quaint sit down place, which can be nice in the midst of the Nashville hustle and bustle.
You get a variety of vegan food options- from your more “vegan junk food” types to your more balanced, nourishing meals type.
They also have weekend brunch which I’ve been dying to try out!
What to Try
The Mac N’ Chorizo was heavenly- some of the best vegan mac and cheese I’ve had!
I’ve also heard great things about the Spaghetti and Wheatballs.
I love featuring my yummy vegan eats on Instagram! Follow me their for more delicious content!

True Food Kitchen is a new restaurant to the vegan Nashville scene. While not exclusively vegan, the restaurant prides itself on being a friendly environment for a host of different diet/lifestyle types.
The restaurant is always popping with people- any day of the week. The vegan food, in my opinion, was quite lackluster and honestly something I feel like one could prepare at home.
In fact, the vegan pizza I got was undercooked and just super underwhelming in general.
The restaurant is also quite pricey because of the high demand. BUT, if you are looking to dine with your omniverous friends who refuse to go to veggie restaurants, this place is great because it has options for everyone.
What to Try
Get the kale guacamole as an appetizer- you won’t regret it!
If you are of legal drinking age, I’ve heard the drinks are quite good as well! Their kale pressed juice was definitely super yummy.
Sunflower Cafe is a cute little restuarant located in the Berry Hill area.
This is definitely my go to place for affordable, comfort food that is also super nourishing and healthy. Sunflower Cafe has SO many fresh vegan food options that are all super affordable.
The cafeteria/a la carte style ordering system makes it super easy to see what looks good and what you’re craving. They also let you sample whatever you want to try before ordering it!
What to Try
Do yourself a favor and try the Mashed Sweet Potatoes!
The sesame kale is also amazing- and pretty much all their nourish bowls!
I hope you enjoyed this vegan restaurants Nashville Guide! Obviously, as I continue eating my way through this city, I will keep adding to it hehe.
Let me know if you try any of these places and your thoughts on the restaurants!
Much love,
