Wanna learn how to make almondmilk at home for HALF the cost, ingredients, and effort as buying it at the store?! READ ON!
In the past couple of years, demand for cow’s milk has been waning in comparison to plant-based milk. According to a report called “Dairy and Dairy Alternative Beverage Trends in the U.S., 4th edition”, Per capita consumption of fluid milk beverages decreased by around 22% from 2000 to 2016, while consumption of non-dairy plant-based milk alternatives has increased by triple digits in the same time period.
People seem to be avoiding dairy milk for its negative health implications and instead switching to plant based milks, the most popular of which seems to be almond milk.
Many people are now showing interest in making their own almond milk because the almond milk bought at stores touts a long list of added ingredients that act as preserving agents, like: carageenan, soy lecithin, and emulsifiers.
