The Basics.. Why YOU Should Be a Climate Optimist
1. Psychology
There is no other option. If we don’t think we can make a change, we won’t act to see that change come to fruition.
Despite global prosperity being at an all time high, we are affected by several psychological biases that make us think that the opposite is true.
2. Facts
I’ve been documenting “Positive Climate News” each week for the last two and a half years. Through this practice, I’ve picked up on what I call the *most promising* SYSTEMIC SOLUTIONS to this SYSTEMIC CRISIS.

This book is a labor of love, hope, and a whole lot of passion. In it, I unpack the cognitive biases that make optimism difficult to cultivate, chronicle encouraging environmental trends of the last decade, and share examples of communities in the Global South pioneering unique solutions to the climate crisis in order to provide inspiration for the most important fight of our lives.
My goal for this book is that readers walk away with TANGIBLE ways they can get involved with systemic solutions and move past individualistic solutions and lifestyle changes.
